Charlie Armstrong can't keep his mouth shut.

Born in the latter half of the twentieth century in McAllen, Texas, he comes from a family of teachers. Raised in various towns and villages in the mid-South (Alabama and Mississippi), he ran away from home, the first time, at fourteen. He has been a professional musician, film maker, drug dealer, hitchhiker, and hipster. "Sometimes I think I'm a Forest Gump sort of person- in the middle of big doings, but of no particular importance." It has allowed him to have interesting stories to tell ("At least to myself") He got started telling stories when he moved to the Pacific Northwest, where people would say,"Charlie, tell us a story of the South"

"This was a pretty successful way to meet women.", he says.

Armstrong lives in Decatur, Georgia, where he has a handyman business with his son.
